INVISALIGN®

INVISALIGN
Get the Beautiful smile you''ve always wanted!

Invisalign is the invisible way to straighten your teeth using a series of custom-made, nearly undetectable aligners. It has been proven effective in both clinical research and in dental practices nationwide. Whether your teeth are crowded, too far apart, are misaligned or have shifted since wearing braces, you''ll have a new reason to smile.

The latest technology makes it possible.

During an examination, Dr. Otrhalek, a certified Invisalign provider, will decide if Invisalign is right for you. He will write a treatment plan and take an impression of your teeth, which is submitted to Invisalign. Using the latest advances in 3-D computer technology, Invisalign carefully translates Dr. Otrhalek''s instructions into a series of precisely customized aligners. You then wear each set of precisely customized aligners for about two weeks, moving your teeth gradually-week by week, millimeter by millimeter, until you''ve achieved the intended result: straighter teeth. Generally, you will visit Dr. Otrhalek no more than you would with metal braces and the length of treatment is about the same or sometimes less.

It''s removable for good hygiene.

You are able to brush and floss normally, which will help prevent tooth decay and gum disease and your gum health may improve.

Research has shown that periodontal tissue health may improve with the use of Invisalign aligners during your orthodontic treatment.

Because the aligners are removable, you don''t ever have to worry about what you eat and there''s no metal to irritate your mouth. You are able to eat whatever you want.

Some orthodontic appliances, like braces, can cause temporary gum inflammation that is usually reversible once the braces have been removed. With Invisalign there''s no risk of lost braces, broken wires, or allergies to metal. Cleanings are quick and easier than with traditional orthodontics.

Invisalign has proven to be effective in both clinical research and in practices nationwide. Over 100,000 people are already smiling thanks to Invisalign.

Straighter Teeth Can Lead to:

Improved facial appearance

Properly aligned teeth will help reduce the unecessary development of facial lines and wrinkles. On the other hand, crooked and misaligned teeth will increase the development of facial lines and wrinkles.

Healthier Gums

Properly positioned teeth are easier to brush and floss than teeth that are crowded, crooked, or spaced too far apart. Properly aligned teeth can help gums fit tighter around them which may lead to better periodontal health.

Easier Cleanings

With maintenance of good oral hygiene, the chances of having plaque retention, tooth decay, and periodontal (gum) diesease can be reduced.
